Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, December 10, 2009….The Shaw Festival mourns the passing of renowned Canadian actress Goldie Semple. Ms. Semple died peacefully yesterday morning at her home after a courageous battle with cancer. She leaves behind her husband of 33 years, Lorne Kennedy, and their 14 year old daughter, Madeline.
