Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON (November 14, 2016) – The Irish musical comedy-drama Sing Street kicks off the 2017 Shaw Festival Film Series on Saturday, December 3 at the Festival Theatre (10 Queen’s Parade) in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Now in its 12th year, the Film Series continues with weekly viewings of celebrated films and documentaries until Saturday, February 18. All profits from this annual event benefit the Shaw Festival.
Cocktails, conversation and hors d’oeuvres are on the menu at this year’s Shaw Festival Film Series fundraiser. The annual benefit follows the screening of Woody Allen’s romantic comedy-drama Café Society at 7 p.m. in The Shaw’s MacDonald Heaslip Lounge (10 Queen’s Parade). Tickets are $50 per person (price does not include admission to film).
