Registration for Shaw Theatre School on now

Interactive ten-week program conducted by Shaw Festival professionals back for its sixth year

Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON (October 7, 2014) — Register your budding performer now for the Shaw Theatre School in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Beginning Saturday, October 18, students in grades 3 to 12 will explore their inner creativity, develop self-confidence and foster theatrical and presentation skills through engaging drama activities. The ten weeks of age-appropriate classes are led by members of the internationally renowned Shaw Festival company and concludes with a final performance for family and friends on December 20. Also available for teens: Sew with the Pros beginner, intermediate and advanced classes. Call the Shaw Festival Box Office at 1-800-511-7429 (local 905-468-2172) to register. No previous experience is necessary.

Held every Saturday at the Shaw Festival, beginning October 18 until December 20. Class level, times and pricing (tax not included) are as follows:

  • Junior Company I (Grades 3 – 4): 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., $225
  • Junior Company II (Grades 5 – 6): 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., $225
  • Intermediate Company (Grades 7 – 8): 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., $225
  • Senior Company I (Grades 9 – 10): 1 p.m. – 3 p.m., $265
  • Senior Company II (Grades 11 – 12): 1 p.m. – 3 p.m., $265
  • Learn to Sew (Grades 9-12): 10 a.m. – 12 p.m., $265
  • Intermediate Sewing (Grades 9-12): 1 p.m. – 3 p.m., $265
  • Advanced Sewing (Grades 9 – 12): 2 p.m. – 4 p.m., $265
